Beth Koolbeck – 301-672-7525  |  email

For spring show costumes, individuals are responsible for paying for alterations. Beth Koolbeck is the preferred seamstress for these alterations. If all students in a class need a specific alteration done, then the class will be billed accordingly. If individuals need alterations for their spring show costume, then Beth will do it and should be paid directly by the individual.

Approximate fees for costume alterations are listed below. (Since costumes vary a lot and in unpredictable ways, this list is a guide only.)

  • Taking in a pair of seams: $5 to $10
  • Adding material/ letting out a pair of seams: $10 to $30
  • Garment hem: $15-$25, depending upon hem length/difficulty
  • Simple Sleeve length adjustment: $10 -$15, depending upon difficulty
