Registration in any Teelin activity denotes understanding and acceptance of Teelin’s “General Information & Policies” listed below. Online registration will be confirmed by email after your payment has been processed. If you have any questions about the policies, or the registration process, send email to registration@teelin.com.

Liability
Teelin cannot be held liable for dancer injury in class or on the premises.

Payment
Registrations are completed online and payment must be submitted at the time of registration. If payment is not received within 5 days, or before the class is scheduled to begin, the student may be dropped from the class without notice. Online payment is the preferred method for securing placement. No payments should be left in the tuition box, unless prior agreement is confirmed with kathleen@teelin.com. Class sizes are limited, therefore prompt registration is recommended to avoid disappointment. Full payment is required at the time of registration.

Refunds
Teelin reserves the right to cancel any program that does not meet a specific enrollment. A full refund will be made when a class is cancelled by Teelin. No refunds will be issued after the second scheduled class of a series if a student or parent decides not to continue, UNLESS approved by Teelin or for medical or other emergency situation.

Inclement Weather / Instructor Injury or Illness
If a class is cancelled due to inclement weather or instructor injury/illness, an email will be sent to all registered students.  Inclement weather cancellations will also be announced on the answering machine at 443-629-7808.

Images and Recording
From time to time Teelin will take pictures or record a Teelin class or event. These pictures and recordings may be used for promoting the school as well as Teelin sponsored events and performances. If a Teelin student should NOT be included in these pictures and recordings, the Teelin office must be informed in writing by a responsible adult at the time of registration.

For transfer students only (first time registering at Teelin School):
The following information must be submitted to Teelin upon registering for a Teelin class.

  • Name of former Irish Dance School and Teacher.
  • Have you ever competed in Irish Dance? If yes, list the date and level of your last competition.

All students transferring from an IDTANA school will be charged a $25 IDTANA transfer fee in addition to all Teelin registration and tuition fees.

Note: Dancers in a Tiny Toes Camp or Beginner Summer Camp need not purchase Irish dance shoes for this one week of classes. Dancers may participate in bare feet.

Summer Camps help to eliminate any gaps in basic technique and introduce dancers to new skills while having fun with Teelin friends. These opportunities will prepare students for some of the more complicated steps in their future classes. Students drill a LOT of Irish dance skills in a short period of time. Due to this intensity, students who participate in a summer camp are often able to advance more quickly.

Prerequisites are required for each camp, based on class level during the 2022-23 school year at Teelin. If in doubt of which camp to attend, please ask.
